Ms. Torres M.Ed.

Angelique Torres is our High School Principal. She is a seasoned educator and leader with a bachelor’s degree in political science and business and a master’s degree in education. Her background in non-profit leadership and education have brought vitally important experience to Legacy Academy. Throughout her many years in education, Ms. Torres has taught Pre-K through 12th-grade students, gaining invaluable insights into every stage of educational development. Her dedication, creativity, and expertise have been instrumental in advancing Legacy Academy to new heights of excellence, resulting in a well-rounded experience for our student body, including everything from meaningful community service to exciting school traditions to new, innovative academic courses. Ms. Torres believes that high school is a pivotal time in students' lives when it is crucial to have teachers, mentors, and friends who challenge, engage, support, and hold them accountable. It is where lifelong memories and bonds are created. As the high school principal, she focuses her energy on creating this environment so every high school student can enjoy achieving their fullest potential, graduating from Legacy Academy not only with the knowledge and discipline needed to move forward in their chosen career path but with a biblical worldview and habit of service. Alongside parents, students, teachers, coaches, and pastors, and with a relentless pursuit of excellence, her leadership promises to continue shaping the school's future as New Mexico’s most elite Christian discipleship school.
